These were all taken in Lamar Valley, near the Northeast Entrance of the park. I got up really early last Saturday morning, around 4h30am, because I was told there was a moose that hung out around Pebble Creek. Guess what? There is! Apparently, a moose out there actually gave birth this past week - I hope to get up early and go see a baby moose! On the way back from Lamar, I looked over and saw an elk running. Now, I don't know if you know much about elk, but they usually don't run for no reason. It was in a no stopping zone due to a nearby wolf den, but I stopped anyway for a minute to check it out. I looked and the elk was actually CHASING the wolf! If I had been able to spend more time there I'm sure I would have seen the whole pack hunting the elk. Still, it was very cool. And the bison calves are everywhere and totally adorable. Remember, click on the pictures for a better view!

These were taken in Lamar Valley as well. On the same moose trip in the above post. The first picture might be from somewhere else, I don't quite remember.

These were also taken in Lamar Valley, on a trip a couple of weeks ago. This black bear was only a couple feet from my car. Amazing! The second black bear was near Rosevelt and Tower Falls. That one was a bit farther away.
