The following photos were taken near the Petrified Tree off the Blacktail Plateau Drive and in Lamar Valley. Photos by Karr.

The calves are getting the adult colors - not as cute anymore!

Wild flowers!

Ground squirrels. Everyone here calls them "whistlepigs" for some reason.

Karr and I went camping last week. We drove up to Pine Creek, it's off of the East River Road between Mammoth and Gardiner. We did a short hike and found these falls:

This picture isn't of very good quality, but the moss was so cool!

Been a while!

Sorry for the lack of updates. As usual, I've been fairly busy and the internet is fairly nonexistent in the park.

Some notable events:
-Lost at the latest Cornhole Campionship. These NPSS guys came in and kicked our butts.
-Saw my first Coyote pups!
-Went up to the Hoodoos for the first time. I haven't taken any pictures but it's amazing. Looks almost like an elephant graveyard and I have so much fun just climbing around.
-Went to Canyon again, which meant driving through Dunraven Pass.
-On the same trip, we [Karr, Rebecca and myself], also went to Lake and Fishing Bridge. Very cool! Nice to see a big lake again.
-Went driving in Lamar the other day, a wolf ran in front of us on the road! It was too quick to get a picture, but man on man! So neat!
-Work is going pretty well, they've got me training in new servers almost ever week now. I guess that means I must be doing something right!

Hope everybody had a good 4th of July and is doing well! Love to all!

From the drive between Livingston and Gardiner, Montana. Somewhere in the Gallatin Forrest.

Storm rolling through.

Near Roosevelt Lodge / Petrified Tree.

View of the Lower Falls from Red Rock Trail. This trail takes you 500 feet down into the Canyon. Pretty cool but the walk back up sucked! If you enlarge the picture, you'll see a whole crowd of people to the right of the falls.

Another shot of the rainbow, if you look close enough, you can see it's a double rainbow!

Storm coming through in Lamar. Stunning!

Another view of the storm. The sky here is so much bigger, the storms are so neat to watch.

Pretty clouds.

Not quite sure where this was taken, somewhere in Lamar.

Somewhere in/near Lamar valley. I think this is near the Petrified Tree.

Near the Petrified Tree again, different angle. You can't tell, but this was taken during an amazing sunshower. It was beautiful!

The rainbows here are brilliant in color. This was also taken near the Petrified Tree, shortly after the sunshower!
